Congratulations to Rebecca for a top effort at the CIS Swimming Carnival last week. She was the only WCCS representative and she did very well.
Rebecca made it into the finals for her 50m butterfly final swimming the second fastest time with a massive personal best time of 35.88. In the final she came 6th with a time of 36.67.

Just confirming that the games are going ahead as the draw states
Look forward to seeing you there.
I arrived in the morning at Mamre Anglican College filled with excitement. It was a hot day with a muddy field, which I didn’t like. It was very squishy and I got really dirty.
Shortly after arrival, they split us up into five groups. My team lost one game, draw one game and won the remaining five games. There were a lot of good players with a lot of talent. I enjoyed it. Near the end of the day, after lunch, the selectors picked their top 30 players to play possible vs probable for the CSSA soccer team. Unfortunately, I didn’t make it to that round this year but I enjoyed the experience very much and would love to try out again.

For all those interested in seeing the swimming awards handed out,
This Friday we have a K-6 Assembly @ 1400 in the Hall. As always all parents are welcome and specifically for those who performed well at the school and zone swimming carnival.
At this point the other school is unable to attend the game that was set for the 12.3.14. This was scheduled to be held at WCCS but will not be played. The teams should come prepared to train ready for our game in Week 8 against THAC.
I apologies for the inconvenience, however, this is out of our control.
